| Find rest, O my soul, in God alone, my hope comes from him, He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress. I will not be shaken. My salvation and my honor depend on God, he is my mighty rock, my refuge. TRUST in him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge...O God, are strong. (Psalm 62: 5-8, 11) During the fourth watch of the night Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake. When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified.. "It's a ghost," they said, and cried out in fear. Bur Jessus immediately said to them: "Take courage! It is I. Don't be afraid!" "Lord, if it's you," Peter replies, "tell me to come to you on the water." "Come," he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to ssink, criedout, "Lord, save me!" "Immediatly Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. "You of little faith," he said, "why did you doubt?" (Matthew, 14: 25-31)
If you knew the gift of God and whi it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water...whoever drinks the water I give him will never thrist. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life. (John, 4: 10, 14)
Who shall separate us from the LOVE of CHRIST? Shall troublrs or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?... No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demon, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the LOVE of GOD that is in CHRIST JESUS our LORD. (Roman, 8: 35, 37-39)
